Shiatsu and Asian Bodywork Therapy are forms of Complimentary Alternative Medicine.
I maintain a Massage Therapy License, but Shiatsu is quite different from massage.

Massage is a specialized muscular therapy only; Shiatsu is based on the body's energy, and seeks to correct and balance every body system, not just musculature. It is the same healing system as Acupuncture, without the needles.
